Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he is known for the pop world is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, where, with three other students, he founded his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. The musician was always fascinated by music but also wanted to work as a lawyer, physiotherapist or even a scout. A part-time job in a city bakery is his very first occupation to make money for his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. That's why his group split. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant on The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This allowed them to become the leading contenders to win the competition. However they were in third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell was a millionaire in a contract for One Direction.
